Unveiling the Writer

I knew from about when I was 16 that writing would always play an important part in my life. I started my first novel "Elements: A Whisper of Wind" around the time I was 17. In 2015, I realized I wanted to follow my passion for writing and I haven’t looked back since. It's who I am, it's whom I want to be, and it's who I will be.
I have been a fan of the fantasy genre since I could speak. From the realm of Disney to Lucas Arts (then back to Disney when they bought the Star Wars franchise), and across a multitude of fantastical universes, I've loved the mystifying aspects of pretty much anything fiction. As a dreamer, writing fantasy has given me a unique tool to convey art through words. I believe that this art holds the key to unlocking a door to adventures not attainable in this world. As a member of the League of Utah Writers, I've had the opportunity to meet many writers that have guided my career to this point. I spent ten years honing my craft and am excited to continue my development with the future releases of the Elements series. Aside from writing, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing video games, 3D digital modeling, and composing music. I feel a very deep connection to nature and often find the inspiration for my work while driving through Utah’s winding mountain roads. Above all things in nature, however, I have a particular fascination with the elemental forces. Earth (controlled by Stone Guardians in this series) is my favorite. I love forests and plant life in general. It’s my dream to one day own a greenhouse where I can house many varieties of bonsai species.
